Hi everyone!

I haven't spent much time yet on this website, but I hope to have a look around one day soon. In order not to be rude I should introduce myself before getting all nosy about all of you people.

I'm a Belgian woman who has a definite interest in Integral Theory, and more specifially in Integral Sustainable Development. Some time ago, I was really into it and I even wrote my dissertation on it, but now, my job takes up most of my time. I have worked in an international environmental NGO, in the European Parliament, in a consultancy , and as a Climate Policy Advisor to the Flemish government. I love my work because it provides me with a way to express myself. I am here on this planet, not just to enjoy the ride, but with the wish to make things better, to shed a little light on this planet and its inhabitants. My way to go about this - professionally at least - is to focus on environmental issues. But I hope my own light affects the people around me as well. Recently, someone told me that I came to this beautiful planet of ours to restore the feminine way of thinking, by which she meant intuitive, creative thinking. This is a part of myself I am still working on (after having been confronted by the horrifying consquences of not listening to my intuition a while ago), and I'm curious to see how this element will integrate with my environmental activities…

I love socialising, but I don't like small talk. I love to meet new people, to spend time with my friends, to go out and dance, to read and to travel.

What else, I think I'm quite bubbly and sociable. And yet, I'm also a calm person. God it's hard to describe one's own personality!  

I hope this is enough to give you an idea, and I look forward to getting to know you! In any case, it's really a joy to see so many radiant people together. First of all because it means they exist (often I wonder about that!), and second because we can link up.
